No one should have to live life without a home, especially after having bravely served their country. Unfortunately, the sad reality is that many veterans struggle to obtain proper housing as they enter the transition process from serving overseas to civilian life.
We at Phoenix Heroes Endowment Fund offer a housing assistance program to help veterans live a life of dignity in which they have access to a real home.
Transitional Housing
This facet of the program provides veterans with an apartment free of rent and utility bills for one year. At this time, they’re given access to consultations with financial and employment advisers who can help guide them toward a career path in which they may achieve stability and success.
Permanent Homes
This program gives veterans the opportunity to move into a home while working with caseworkers and other related advisers to plan for homeownership. Financial counselors help participants to reduce debt and build savings in order to buy a home.
