About Us

Helping women veterans and their families

Over 2 million women veterans are underrepresented when they return from duty. They come home to a community that doesn’t effectively keep its veterans safe and housed. With so many programs catered toward male veterans of U.S. service branches, women veterans tend to get left out.

Phoenix Heroes Endowment Fund hopes to change that with the help of thousands of donors and volunteers. Currently, even though most services are geared toward male vets, there are just as many resources available out there for women and mother vets.

At the end of the draft in 1973 when recruits only volunteered, servicewomen made up 2% of the armed forces and 8% of the peace corps. Today, women comprise 16% and 19%, respectively. This is a dramatic increase over the decades. We provide personalized attention and connections with a vast number of resources for women that most female vets are unaware even exist.
